A wider view of wellbeing
Understand your wellbeing before you change it.
Medistic Health explains what the research says about hydration, sleep, movement and healthy ageing, including where the evidence runs out, so you can make informed decisions for yourself.
For anyone who wants to age well and believes there may be more to wellbeing than they have been told.
The problem
There is more than one way to feel well.
Most people are told what to buy for their health, not what is actually going on. The advice is fragmented, it contradicts itself, and there is no obvious way to judge who is right.
Being overpromised once costs more than money. It costs trust, and it makes the next honest thing harder to hear.
WHAT MEDISTIC MEANS
Modern science meets holistic well-being.
MEDICINE
Conventional medicine plays an essential role in diagnosing, treating and managing health.
Medistic Health respects that role while also looking at the wider factors that influence how we feel and function every day.
HOLISTIC WELL-BEING
Hydration, nutrition, movement, recovery, environment, connection and lifestyle all play a part in long-term wellbeing.
Medistic brings these two worlds together, helping you understand health more widely and make informed choices.
Medicine + Holistic = Medistic
Where we started
We started with questions too.
A serious brain injury in 2004 led our founder to question what he understood about health, recovery and wellbeing.
That search eventually took him to Japan, where he became increasingly interested in different approaches to longevity, lifestyle and health. He has continued returning over the years, including to Okinawa, with the same mindset: stay curious, keep learning and remain a student.
In November 2010, after his doctor noticed significant changes in his own wellbeing, their conversations led to him sharing what he had been learning with people through her medical practice.
That is where Medistic Health began.
"That experience didn't create a belief in one miracle solution. It created a belief in looking at health more widely."

The plan
Discover. Understand. Explore. Choose.
Four steps, in that order. Understanding is the destination, not any particular purchase.
01
Discover
Articles, guides, talks and research summaries. The job is comprehension, not persuasion.
02
Understand
The methods available, what the evidence shows for each, and what none of them will do.
03
Explore
Guided walkthroughs and remote sessions. You do not need to be in the room to understand it.
04
Choose
Clear options, honest limitations, no pressure and no deadline pricing. Your call.
What we cover
Twelve subjects, three places to start.
Every subject earns its place by teaching something. Each one sets out what the research explores, and what it does not claim. Start wherever you already have a question.
01
Your body
What is happening inside you, and which levers actually move it.
Hydration and molecular hydrogen
Sleep and recovery
Skin, face and hair
Movement and strength
Athletic performance and recovery
Breath and breathwork
02
Your life
The things that compound over decades and are easiest to postpone.
03
Your home
The household you buy for, and everyone in it including the animals.
Food and household choices
EMF and environmental exposure
Animal health
What is at stake
Understanding, or another decade of guessing.
If you understand it
You understand your own wellbeing well enough to make confident, informed choices, and to explain those choices to someone else.
If you do not
More years of contradictory advice, money spent on things you never understood, and no way to tell what is working.
